1 Mixing bowl
1 Spatula
1 Frying Pan
1 Toaster
1 Cheese grater
- 1 Serving Dungeness Crab
- 1 Serving Bread of choice
- 1 Cup Grated Cheddar Cheese
- 2 tbsp Mayo
- 1/2 Cup Finely chopped green onions
- 1/4 Cup Finely chopped celery
In a mixing dish, start by adding the diced celery, green onions, mayonnaise, and Dijon mustard to the Dungeness crab meat. Mix the ingredients together gently until thoroughly mixed.
Heat a griddle or frying pan to a medium temperature. On one side of every bread slice, spread butter.
Place a piece of bread on the heating pan, butter side down. Spread a good amount of the crab mixture on the top.
Make sure the crab mixture is completely covered by adding grated cheddar cheese on top.
On top of the cheese layer, place another slice of bread, butter side up.
Cook the sandwich for 3–4 minutes on each side, or until the cheese is perfectly melted and the bread is golden brown.
When cooked, take the sandwich out of the pan and allow it to cool for one minute before slicing.
Enjoy the mouthwatering tastes of the Oregon Crab Melt while it's still hot.
