Fried Bologna Sandwich

The fried bologna sandwich is a Southern classic for good reason- it's cheap, easy, and incredibly delicious.

Materials

  • 2 slices white bread
  • 2 slices bologna
  • tsp oil
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 slice American cheese

Instructions

  • Bring a skillet to medium high heat. Add oil.
  • Cut a few slits in the bologna to prevent it from cupping. Add bologna to pan and cook until brown on both sides, about 2 - 3 minutes.
  • Add cheese to one of the bologna slices. Place other bologna slice on top of cheese, then put on slice of bread. Spread mustard on other slice of bread, then top.
