Materials

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs lightly beaten
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted and cooled
  • 2 tablespoons Kentucky bourbon
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 ready-made pie crust 9-inch size

Instructions

  • Gather all ingredients and preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and sugar.
  • Add the lightly beaten eggs and melted butter to the bowl and stir until well blended.
  • Next, add the Kentucky bourbon, chopped walnuts, chocolate chips, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix thoroughly until combined.
  • Pour the filling evenly into the prepared 9-inch pie crust.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the filling has set.
  • Remove the pie from the oven, place it on a wire rack, and allow it to cool completely before serving.
