- 6 cups crispy rice cereal
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup honey or light corn syrup
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 12 oz butterscotch chips
Line a 9 x 13' pan with parchment paper (or grease).
Place rice cereal in a large bowl and set aside. In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine the sugar and honey (or corn syrup). Once it has reached a low boil, remove from heat and stir in the peanut butter until smooth. Pour mixture over the cereal and combine evenly. Press into prepared pan.
Combine the butterscotch and chocolate chips into a microwave safe bowl. Microwave on low for about 2 minutes, stopping to stir every 30 seconds, until melted and smooth.
Spread over the rice cereal layer. Let sit at room temperature until completely cooled. Then cut and serve.
