Taboule

Lebanese taboule salad (also spelled  tabouli or tabbouleh) is a light, nutritious salad made with fresh vegetables, herbs, lemons, and bulgur.

Materials

  • 2 cups parsley washed and finely chopped
  • ½ cup mint washed and finely chopped
  • 2 medium tomatoes diced
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • ½ cup bulgur
  • 2 small lemons juiced
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  • Cook the bulgur according to package directions.
  • In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients and toss evenly. Taste and add more salt, olive oil, or lemon juice as needed. Serve at room temperature.
