How to make chipotle mayo

This easy chipotle mayo recipe comes together in minutes. Place your mayo, lime juice, salt, pepper, onion powder, smoked paprika and chipotle into your processor. I like to use real chipotle peppers that come in the can.

To control the spice level, take a spoonful of the adobo sauce and add that. Start conservatively and add more. However if you don’t have chipotles, you could use chipotle powder.

Blend until everything is smooth. Taste and adjust for seasoning.

Is mayo the same as aioli

Today the word aioli basically is equal to mayo. Aioli is mayo combined with another ingredient like garlic, paprika, ginger, fish sauce, etc.
