We Recreated Every State As A Sandwich

We had ChatGPT recreate every state in the form of a sandwich, and some of them are odd…to say the least.

You’re definitely going to want to see the ones for Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

1. Alabama

Alabama recreated as a sandwich by Chat GPT.

It would appear that ChatGPT doesn’t care for Alabama, or maybe it sees y’all for y’all? Idk – ChatGPT is definitely throwing shade here.

2. Alaska

This looks like a pretty on point representation for Alaska. We can see smoked salmon, and maybe it’s on pilot bread?

3. Arizona

This Arizona representation is really awesome. I think it tried to make a Sonoran dog?

4. Arkansas

A ChatGPT created "Every State As A Sandwich" features Arkansas: a sandwich shaped like the state, topped with crime-related icons and “CRIME” on the bread, plus a tornado-shaped cutout in the center, symbolizing chaos or crime in Arkansas.

Not gonna lie it kinda hit the nail on the head with the fried bologna sandwich references, as well as the tornados. I don’t like to assume any state is ridden with crime so that’s a bit iffy. HOWEVER, I do LOVE the random looking occult symbols!

5. California

We’re unsure as to who the references are supposed to be, but they really nailed the vibe of California with a burrito being the state sandwich.

6. Colorado

I think ChatGPT might’ve gotten it right with a burger and weed for Colorado. We’re digging the weird looking sloth creature in the upper right.

7. Connecticut

Honestly, this is so spot on for Connecticut, it’s almost slightly scary.

8. Delaware

A ChatGPT created "Every State As A Sandwich" masterpiece features layers resembling Pennsylvania landmarks, boats, and foods like tomatoes, cheese, and nuts, all set on a wooden board by a reflective water scene with trees.

Is that scrapple we see? Imagine floating on a body of ~~water~~ scrapple in beautiful Delaware. I’m not sure if this is a dream or a nightmare.

9. Florida

I spy pickles, ham, pork, mustard, Swiss cheese- all the delicious components of a Cuban sandwich. Also, an alligator. Is that a freaking syringe coming out of the one sandwich?

10. Georgia

Ok, Chat GPT you might need to work a little on this one. Loving the Atlanta skyline, peaches, fried chicken, and biscuits.

11. Hawaii

We’d like to be floating on this island right now with some of that delicious Kalua Pork. We like that this one is very wholesome!

12. Idaho

A ChatGPT created “Idaho” sandwich shaped like the state, filled with bacon, cheese, lettuce, and bread, displayed by a lake with trees, mountains, potatoes, and tomatoes, plus potato chips and an “Idaho” sign on top.

If ChatGPT didn’t include lots of potato references in Idaho’s, we would be worried the internet was broken. But did you know Boise, Idaho has a large Basque population and influence?

13. Illinois

Honestly we kind of love the cornfields lining the Chicago River. We’re getting Italian sandwich vibes from this one. It appears to have added rice, or barley to this?!?

14. Indiana

Ok, ChatGPT did Indiana right with this one. Corn, basketball, racing, more corn, and the iconic Fried Tenderloin Sandwich.

15. Iowa

ChatGPT is giving off a big corn vibe from these middle states, but that’s pretty accurate. We know pork is big in Iowa, but have you heard of the Loose Meat Sandwich? Think Sloppy Joe, but less flavor.

16. Kansas

A ChatGPT created Kansas sandwich is filled with BBQ meats, cheese, and vegetables, surrounded by wheat, a sunflower, and the Kansas state seal, all set against rural farmland beneath a blue sky with clouds.

The barbecue and agriculture theme is fitting for Kansas! Kansas barbecue is pretty awesome, and we’re partial to burnt ends.

17. Kentucky

I think it went for a Kentucky fried chicken vibe, with maybe a bottle of bourbon in the background? We’re unsure of the ENTIRE ramakin of mayo just being on top of the sandwich.

18. Louisiana

Alright, there are a few things we noticed here:

Off to the left those are definitely beads for what I would assume would be mardi gras
This is definitely supposed to be bourbon street(you wouldn’t catch a local there)
Is that a weird penguin, or maybe microphone floating around in the middle?

19. Maine

The only thing that could’ve made this MORE Maine would be a portrait of Stephen King in the middle.

20. Maryland

I think the softshell crab should’ve been blue, and why are there so many whittled down pencils?

Having Ben Affleck and a bunch of cigs makes This Massachusetts sandwich so perfect. Also, LOBSTER SO BUTTER.

22. Michigan

Is that a Paul Bunyan reference I spy? Also, it ALMOST got the Jucy Lucy right! Otherwise, pretty spot on Minnesota references.

24. Mississippi

We love that we’re seeing some fried catfish vibes for Mississippi… the ugh, cotton field though is suspect at best.

There is A LOT going on in this one for Missouri lol – we can only presume it’s supposed to be a pulled pork? Kinda? Are those McDonald’s french fries popping up in the right hand corner?

26. Montana

This one for Montana is honestly very freaking cool. We just love the vibes, and the big ole cowboy hat and the bison. Genuinely well done.

Yo this one for Nevada really hit it. It even looks like it chose a patty melt.

29. New Hampshire

We’re not really sure what to think about this choice for New Hampshire?

30. New Jersey

AI Bruce Springsteen is pretty on point. I can only suspect that this was during the Tunnel of Love album? Although he’s never really rocked just a mustache.

We do love that there appears to be a ton of traffic, and wrecks, as well as references to Taylor Ham. All of this makes it feel very authentic to Jersey.

31. New Mexico

We don’t know if the sandwich fits, but the image for New Mexico and the fact that a green chile is predominant makes this a VERY cool image.

32. New York

It looks like they went for some pastrami with kraut. Maybe remove all the veggies? Otherwise, a fairly decent representation.

33. North Carolina

This is kinda spot on for North Carolina with a pulled pork sandwich. It even looks like it attempted to make a Cheerwine soda in the background? Those are definitely the Blue Ridge Mountains.

34. North Dakota

This is just a sweet image in general for North Dakota.

35. Ohio

They definitely went for the Polish Boy for Ohio. It appears that even AI knows how much Ohio folks are into College Football.

This is probably one of our favorite images out of this series. We love the hat, the representation, and everything. They kinda nailed the panhandle state.

37. Oregon
