Ingredients
- 4 boneless pork chops
- 1 cup panko bread crumbs
- ½ cup crushed Saltines
- ½ cup flour
- salt and pepper
- 1 egg beaten
- ½ cup buttermilk
- 1 cup oil
- dill pickles
- yellow mustard
- thinly sliced onion
- 4 kaiser rolls
Recipe Instructions
- Combine buttermilk and egg. Season with salt and pepper. In another bowl, combine panko, crushed Saltines, and season with salt and pepper. Place flour in a third and season with salt and pepper.
- Coat chops in flour. Dip chops in egg mixture and then breadcrumb mixture. Allow to rest while oil heats up.
- Pour oil into cast iron until about 1 inch deep. Heat over medium high heat until it reached 350 F.
- Fry in hot oil until golden brown.
- Place on buns with mustard, pickle, and onion.
